The room was comfortable, quaint, and well-equipped. Delicious made-to-order breakfast. Convenient kitchenette, sitting room, king bed, and twin beds for families. Spacious bathroom with an inviting tub and shower. Close proximity to everything. Smooth check-in and excellent communication with Tessa. Fantastic location. Enjoyed breakfast vouchers and amazing breakfast at the chosen spot. Accommodated early check-in and late checkout. Excellent reception staff.
Cannot find any fault.

Our room was fantastic, spacious and clean. We had secure parking. Breakfast was delicious and excellent value for money!
The sound of the cars at night and the sensor light kept going on and shining through the curtains which was rather distracting. The swimming pool was freezing cold - even though the weather was hot, it was still too cold to swim.

The location is convenient, accessible and well positioned for the area.
For a cold winters night I do believe that the room could have been warmed slightly - it was freezing. A suggestion could be to provide double bed duvets / blankets on the single bed - s the single ones just fit, making it difficult to get warm.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a room with beautiful antique furniture. The double bed was comfortable and the black out blinds made it easy to get a good night's sleep. The hotel's location close to the city centre was perfect for exploring. The staff were friendly and the breakfast options were delicious, with made-to-order choices.
No major issues, everything was great.

All was perfect! The time (though short - only night) I spent at the hotel was really fantastic! They organized for me wonderful wine tour - we visited very beautiful places tasting wine. Thank you so much! Sergey.

That it was close to the university and their amazing breakfast. Staff were also exremely helful helpful at all times.
That my room was on the street and the traffic (people and cars was noisy).

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. the hotel offered parking facilities which were very convenient. Another advantage was the spacious and well-decorated rooms, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The hotel had ongoing construction work right in front of our room, causing inconvenience and dust inside the room. the TV in my room was not working, and despite being moved to another room, there were further issues with the facilities, such as a hitting wall behind the cistern in the bathroom.

Ryneveld Lodge always looked like such a quaint little lodge from the outside, but I was hugely surprised by the large units and the beautiful courtyard & swimming pool. The room was very pretty and had all (and more) that we needed! We loved it!
We were told that breakfast was served until 09h30, but when we arrived for breakfast at 09h00, most of the cold foods & cereals were already removed. When we made a joke about the fact that it looks like we are a bit late, the hostess said (quite straight and without joking) that in fact we are late but that they will see if they can make us hot breakfast. Other than that - everything was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay!

They are very well organized and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The safe did not work in the room. I was staying in a room across the road from the actual lodge, and although they say there is parking, I had to park behind the actual lodge and then negotiate 2 security systems to get to my room. Irritating.

I recently had a great stay in this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The prices were reasonable and I felt I got a lot for what I paid. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were equipped with black out blinds, which ensured a good night's sleep. The beautiful antique furniture added a touch of elegance to the room as well. Lastly, the breakfast was a highlight. Not only was it delicious, but there were also made-to-order options.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't find anything to fault.

Rooms were cosy, comfortable and very quaint. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was in a good location in relation to places to eat and little shops in the town centre. If planning on eating in any of the vineyards though you would need a car or taxi. On-street parking was available and safe. WiFi was cheap and available in the main part of the guesthouse with comfortable sofas to sit on.
We stayed there in Winter and with only one ac unit to heat a cottage with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a living room we were quite cold, especially in the mornings.

We stayed in the cottage that was very spacious. There is ample space for a familyof four. You can relax in the pretty garden. During the weekend, breakfast was very good and our orders were taken correctly.
The bed in the main room is old and needs replacement. The refrigirator either freezes everything inside or leeks water. On our last day, none of our breakfast orders were correct, the eggs were very overcooked and the staff did not seem to understand the menu. The menu also lists food that are not available.

I recently stayed at a charming country hotel that exceeded all my expectations. The room, with its beautiful antique furniture and double bed, was a cozy retreat after a long day exploring. The attention to detail, like the black-out blinds, ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The hotel's location, situated close to the city center, was ideal for exploring the local area. And let me tell you about the breakfast - it was simply divine! With made-to-order options, I started each day on a delicious note.
Not a single complaint - everything was absolutely perfect!

Goog location, friendly staff & value for money (deal of the day). They upgraded our from double room to honeymoom suite which was really spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. Bathroom was huge with lovely, old fashioned bath.

I visited Stelenbosch and stayed at Ryneveld Country Lodge, as my son returned to University. The staff were very friendly, helpfull and professional. The breakfast was great. Lovely stay, thank you.
If I would have to give negatives it would only be two things - the shower pressure and the seetings...eiher very hot or too cold. The wooden doors sticking to open, but I am not surprised with all that rain!
